SMARA Club Annual Awards
Awards Committee will include Officers and immediate past President and immediate past Vice President, Awards to be nominated and voted on by the officers of the club, with the exception of Presidential Award or "earned awards". Committee Chair will be apponited by the President.
*Ham of the year....person who does most for the growth and welfare of the club during the current year.
*Most improved ham award....person who improves on air presence most during the current year.
*Net Control Operator proficiency certificate....demonstrated proficiency as NCO (may be given out as earned rather than just in December.
*Bring'em in Alive Award....given to the member with the most recruits who join the SEMO ARA in the current year.
*Silent Service Recognition Award....given to the person who quietly helps out, shows up, works, and gives serviceto the club during the current year, that often goes unnoticed to most members. May be given to more than one recipiant.
*Rocket Award.... all three tickets in a 12 month period, no vote required.
*Service Award.... given to those who provide outstanding service to the Amateur Radio Community during the current year. May be given to more than one recipient per year.
*Presidential Award....given at the discretion of the club president to the person who does most for the club in the president's opinion. Should not be awarded to the same person in consecutive years.
*All States Award.... earned by verifiable contact to all 50 states within one year December 1 through November 30, any mode, any band.
*Conanian Rap Award.... earned by verifiable contact to all Canadian Provinces (Territories are extra credit), in one year (December 1 through November 30 any mode, any band.
*European Tour Award....earned by veriable contact to 35 European countries (extra credit for the Vatican), in one year December 1 through November 30, any mode, any band.
*Rvery County in Missouri Award.... earned by verifiable contact to all Missouri Counties in one year December 1 through November 30, any mode, any band.
